I want to be somebody new
♥ Stuff that can help you. | 11 Oktober 2009 | 17:27:53

I Want To Be...Somebody New
How You Think...Determines How You Act
How you act....determines how others React to you. We receive back from others the kind of treatment and respect we think we deserve. If a person somehow feels inferior or inadequate, they will act that way. If you are an online marketer, you have an important job to do this year. You are not a "salesperson," you are a representative of your chosen company. You definitely should feel very good about what you are doing and should believe your work is IMPORTANT, helpful, and needed. Plus you are in the business of helping other people make their dreams come true. You Are Important! You do and should command respect.

Look and Feel Important
Act Important
Be important

Many people have the cycle of success a bit backwards... they think you must:

1.  Do
2.  Have
3.   Be
i.e. You do the work to have the symbols to be the successful person.

WRONG, WRONG, AND TRIPLE WRONG

You must FIRST .....BE
Be the kind of person you want to BE. Then you will automatically do the things necessary to obtain what you want.
BE-ing means you already are a success; with or without the "symbols" that society "thinks" must be there to "prove" your success...(what a bunch of pressure baloney that thinking is)
1.    BE
2.     DO
3.     HAVE
In this coming year work as much on BE-ing the kind of person you really want as you do on DO-ing your business.
BE.... and the Do and Have part will follow as naturally as night follows day. That is a Law of Prosperity! And it works just as surely as the Law of Gravity does.

Right now, write down who you really want to Be.

Next prefix it with I AM

·     I AM a highly successful network marketer
 ·      I AM financially free
·      I AM a kind and loving person
 ·     I AM healthy, wealthy, and wise
·       I AM an important person
·    I AM...you fill in the blanks

Never consider yourself in terms of who you were.... think of who you want to be. Prosperity is a Choice. A choice only you can make for yourself. Setting goals will rarely work if a person is still operating under an "old image" of who they are. Change the Image of yourself first, then once you see yourself and believe yourself to BE the person you want to be.....you will have no difficulty in setting and attaining those goals. You Deserve whatever you want in life. If for any reason you somehow feel you are un-worthy to receive what you want - GET OVER IT QUICKLY -

Prosperity: The Choice Is Yours

Ana & Mia
♥ Inspiration for you. | 06 Juli 2009 | 19:06:14
Ana & Mia

Mia  is the lonely little girl living inside my dreams and my thoughts, lurking in the back of my mind in the dark corners. She's the voice in my head and the hand that holds mind in the bathroom as i rid myself of my pollution and guilt. She's the only one who will sit there and not judge as I degrade myself. Nobody sees me but her. She's the image of perfection, a little girl really, delicate and scared, always quiet, always there. She will watch me as I let myself down and gently show me the way to the room with the cold white shiny faces of tile and smell of lavender. There she will lie patiently with me as I drown myself in guilt and self-loathing, purge myself of shame; she will push me down but let me up for the price of knowing I will return again and again.

Ana  makes you feel pathetic, and small. Her bitter spitting words bite you as she scorns you in the mirror, the rippling disgusting fat of your body magnified and scrutinised whether you like it or not. You can't look at yourself, and when you do her cackle is there in your ear, because you've never done as well as you could. Everytime you slip up she is there, the superior witness; she is a constant battle field of guilt, emptiness and hate as you struggle to gain her praise and promise of a perfect body. She screams at you when you let her down, then forces sickness into the depths of your stomach, making you reach for Mia's escape once more. But constantly she reminds you of her presence, like an old love inhabiting the forgotten bits of your mind; she is still there, and she knows you will plead with her to forgive you, for one more chance. She is like a habit, a comfortable blanket or a sharp knife to dig deeper into the throbbing veins of your depression. And you are pathetic, and small. But she will carry you out of this, take you to places you have never been, make you the person you want to be, make you you.

Eetdagboek
♥ Stuff that can help you. | 24 Juni 2009 | 23:10:39

Ten eerste realiseert men zich hierdoor hoeveel calorieën men binnen krijgt.

Why Worry? It's Completely Unproductive

Why Worry? It's Completely Unproductive

"Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere." ~Glenn Turner

We live in a culture where everyone seems to worry. Turn on the news – someone got shot, there’s mercury in the fish we eat, the cows have got BSE, a new super-flu is coming, terrorists are regrouping, … On and on it goes. If you take all of this stuff seriously, it’s likely that you’ll never go out, never eat, never travel, never take any kind of risk at all.

I’ve no doubt that people have always worried. Dale Carnegie’s book ‘How to Stop Worrying and Start Living,’ which was published in 1944, is packed with stories from the early part of the twentieth century (and even earlier in some cases) about people who worried about all kinds of things. But in fact, as Carnegie so ably and amusingly points out through his many examples, worry makes no sense at all. Here are some reasons why worry really is a pointless and damaging activity. I suspect we all know this deep down, but a reminder doesn’t hurt.

  • Things never happen the way you imagine. When you worry, you are predicting the future. You are saying, "I know that things will turn out badly." But this just isn’t the case. You have no idea how the future is going to turn out, except to say that it will not be what you think it will be. So why worry?
  • Worry means you give away your power. Some people are so entrenched in worry that they cannot see any other way to live. But worry robs you of your power to be proactive. The truth is that you are in control and you can choose how to react to situations, so why choose to give that power away so easily and so unconsciously?
  • Worrying is completely unproductive. Why waste your energy doing something that gets you nowhere. On a treadmill at least you get some exercise, but worry is a truly pointless activity. Spend your time and energy on something more useful.
  • Worry distorts reality. We live in an age where people live longer, have better access to health care, have more opportunity for personal and professional growth, more chance to travel, greater access to information and lifelong education, and many other wonderful things. Yes, there are risks and potential dangers, but worry magnifies these disproportionately and blinds us to the wonders of our age.
  • Worrying is bad for your health. Worry is not a normal state of mind, and it adversely affects your health, even your physical health. When you worry, physical changes are happening in your body which are very damaging. It increases stress which can increase blood pressure, cause higher levels of stomach acid, cause muscle tension and headaches, among many other things.
  • Worry is not natural. Do little children worry? Do animals worry? Do all adults worry? There is nothing inherent in being human that means you have to worry. Worry is a pathology, a distortion of our natural, healthy state.

Do you know the most frequent instruction given in the Bible? Surprisingly, it is not ‘love one another’ or ‘love God’ or anything like that. It is simply ‘do not be afraid.’ I don’t know how many times it appears, but I’ve seen estimates between 100 and 366 times. You don’t have to be religious to realize that this is good advice.

So how can we break out of this worry habit? Like all habits, it might not be easy to do, but there are some clear, simple and effective steps you can take to eliminate worry from your life.

  • Realize that you are in control. In The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Steven Covey tells us that the first step to a better life is the realization that we are free to choose how to react to circumstances. Worry is a choice – it’s inside our own head and, as such, it is within the sphere of our own influence.
  • Recognize that worry is a habit. Like all habits, there is a momentum to worry, and it might not be easy to break away from this, especially if you’ve been a worrier all your life. But it’s possible to change any habit.
  • Keep things in perspective. E. Joseph Crossman said, "If you want to test your memory, try to recall what you were worrying about one year ago today." Are you still worrying about those things? Will all this stuff matter a 100 years from now?
  • Face your fears. Nelson DeMille said that "Somehow our devils are never quite what we expect when we meet them face to face." After you do something that scares you, you’ll probably find it wasn’t as bad as you thought. With time, all your worry will dissipate.
  • Stop trying to be in control of everything. You cannot control the whole world. Things happen that are truly outside our circle of influence, and so we need to relax and accept that sometimes things just happen as they will. This is part of life, and worry will not change it one little bit.
  • Stop taking yourself so seriously. If you fail, so what? If you screw up, is it the end of the world? Are you really so important that the world will stop turning if you get things wrong? Life is not that serious.

Finally, one of my favorite quotes from the master of quotes, Mark Twain. "I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened." Worry is a dangerous and poisonous thing. Don’t let it eat away at you. Take Dale Carnegie’s advice – stop worrying and start living!

10 Steps To Clear Thinking
♥ Stuff that can help you. | 22 Juni 2009 | 17:05:08
10 Steps To Clear Thinking

Does your mind sometimes feel like a television station you can't quite tune in? You know there's an interesting program on - or several, but everything is mixed with static. What if you could "tune in" at will, have clear thinking whenever you want it?

Try some of the following. Ten Clear Thinking Techniques And Tips

1. Take a walk. Science will eventually prove this to be a great way to improve the quality of your thinking, but don't wait for the proof. Aren't there enough other reasons to take a walk anyhow?

2. Stay away from sugar. If you want to understand what brain fog is, eat a sugary donut on an empty stomach, then do math problems twenty minutes later. What you will experience, along with the "sugar blues," is brain fog. At least lay off sugar and simple carbohydrates when you need to think clearly.

3. Organized space means clear thinking. It's rare that a person can actually work better in clutter. Organised working space means you won't have the thought "where is that..." distracting your mind.

4. Get better sleep. Sleep requirements vary, but the minimum for most is somewhere around five hours. Some suffer if they sleep less than eight hours. The research, however, indicates that after a certain minimum quantity, the quality of sleep is more important to normal brain function.

5. Try meditating. No time? Just close your eyes, relax, and watch your breath for a while. Accept that your mind will wander, but continually return your attention to your breath. Five minutes of this, and afterwards you'll feel a boost in your brainpower.

6. Resolve your "mind irritations." Watch your busy brain. Maybe a call you need to make has been bothering you, just below consciousness. Find these stressors, and do something to let them go. For example, make that call, or put it on a list, and your mind will let go of it for now. Just seeing a problem and saying, "There's nothing I can do about this until Friday," will often stop unconscious worrying.

7. Don't drink alcohol. At least don't drink too much. While moderate amounts can be conducive to creative thinking, all the evidence says that it is bad for the long-term health of your brain.

8. Make decisions quickly. Nothing gets in the way of clear thinking like a dozen decisions hanging around unmade. If nothing else, decide when you'll make the decision.

9. Get some fresh air. Go outside and breath deeply through your nose. You'll get a good dose of oxtgen to your brain, and the change of surroundings can help clear your mind.

10. Satisfy your physical needs. Clear thinking is easier if you aren't too hungry, thirsty, or hot. You can think more clearly starting today.

There are certainly more than ten ways, but you really only need to make a few of them a habit to have a more powerful brain. Why not try one or two right now?
